3 Ideas to Make 2010 a Great Year

From our Friday noon memo #12:

Welcome in 2010, a year of great opportunities. The economy is recovering, innovation is more important than ever and sustainability increasingly becomes a guiding principle for many. Here are three ideas how to use these trends for your advantage:

  1. Attract clients from your competition. Too many companies downscaled their customer service during the crisis. Act differently and innovate the ways you serve your clients. Ideas are easy to find: just look at other countries or industries.
  2. Reshape your business processes toward your clients. Efficient, customer focused business processes are the best means to achieve high satisfaction and loyalty of your clients.
  3. Make things sustainable. Go for sustainable processes and structures that keep the costs low and the clients loyal in the long term.

What are your intentions for 2010? Which of the above ideas are most relevant for your business? Comment in our blog.

Once again New Pace has demonstrated it's leadership in the 'quest for excellence' space. The economy peaked out in 2007, and we are now into 2010. We have lived with the downturn long enough for tight economic conditions to be part of our business landscape.

So it is time to emerge from short-term, emergency fire-fighting, and revert to the core principles of business success. What could be better than these guiding principles, that urge us to return our focus to delivering true client value, and thinking long-term.
