CIOs become useless

The iPad 2 was announced today. This gadget is not just a device, but a new approach to communication and information sharing. People love it, for business and private use (will there be any difference in future?).

The question is: Are professional organizations prepared to leverage it, not just as new technology, but as a new lever for cultural change? You do not need to be a prophet to assume that most resistance will come from those with the highest stakes on risk: the CIOs (Chief Information Officers).
