First Mountain Hike 2011

Yesterday, I went for the first mountain hike this year, earlier in the year than ever before at 2500m–at least as long as I can remember. It was amazing: great weather, exciting panorama, fresh air. Enjoy some impressions by clicking here.

Snow has already melted at 95% (from the small amount that was falling last winter) and the landscape is quite dry. It is hard to believe that these are NOT signs of the global warming, even if we all know that some single observations over the last years do not equal any scientific evidence.

At least there will be longer hiking seasons in the future.
