Seven Steps To a Successful Strategy

Most organisations’ strategies are too complex to ever be fully executed. They lack the necessary momentum for a successful implementation. This issue is explored in our white paper “What is your strategy velocity? Or: why most strategies fail”. Yet, many pitfalls of strategy implementation can be addressed at their stage of creation.

The paper presents a proven approach that offers an efficient alternative to the accepted paradigm of a painstaking and time-consuming strategy-building process. In contrast to the traditional approach, we suggest a simple seven-step process that allows you to create your organisation’s strategy rapidly and effectively, normally within two to five days.

There are two preconditions for using the seven-step process to a successful strategy:

  • You have a functioning and well-informed leadership team in place. If not, acquire some coaching guidance first.
  • You are not complacent. If you are, then no strategy will ever succeed.
