The Best Practice

There is a company from which you can learn how to be really successful with your business by following a clear strategy and ensuring its full execution: Nespresso.

Yesterday, I visited their new production plant in Avenches, Switzerland. Each year they manage a double-digit growth and still have a huge market potential. What makes Nespresso so successful?

  1. Clear positioning. They provide highest quality combined with unique customer experience. The combination matters: coffees in capsules, fitting only to Nespresso coffee machines, along with impressive customer service through interfaces like internet, shops and social media.
  2. Business sustainability. Nespresso pursues long-term goals. There is no quarterly change of directions. Nota bene: The company is sustainably dynamic, not enchained by dynamic chaos. Some companies mix up these two alternatives.
  3. Discipline and execution. Probably the most important principle. In everything they do, they implement and execute all business processes accurately and consequently.

What other growing companies follow these rules of success? Share your experience - comments are welcome.
